We are three master students researching the possibility for sustainable urban design through a holistic industrial building production in a BIM context for cross laminated timber. We are architecture students in the master program Design for Sustainable Development at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. We are inspired by the confluence of technology and fine woodcraft for a vision of sustainable urban development.
Anna Esbjörnsson comes from Ljusdal, Sweden. She studied architecture at KTH Stockholm & fine arts at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts before her present studies at Chalmers. She likes to paint, climb, write, read, dance and loves to do things with her hands.
James Ford studied architecture and civil engineering at Georgia Tech Atlanta USA where he graduated in 2011. He likes reading books, camping in the forest, drinking coffee, and learning Swedish!
Patrik Magnusson comes from Höör, Sweden. He studied architecture at Chalmers in Göteborg. He designs and builds furniture, likes to run, take walks in the woods, and makes excellent pies.
